The Process

Once you have chosen your individual combination of charms and jewellery, we will send you a form to complete with all of the details you would like included on the charm e.g. names or dates of birth.

Please note that all items will take on average 3 weeks to arrive with you once the print or picture has been received by us. If you are working to a shorter timescale, please email in advance and we will try to accomodate you wherever possible, at no extra charge. All finished items are sent by recorded delivery.

Silver Fingerprint Jewellery

We will send you a kit with a special putty which is completely safe to use. The putty captures the fine details of your child’s fingerprint and stabilises after a few minutes so that it can be sent back to us without fear of being damaged. We have found that the thumb, forefinger and middle finger give the best prints. Please note that children under 18 months do not generally have sufficiently defined fingerprints in order to produce a useable print. For children of this age, handprints and footprints are more appropriate. We will use the putty to create your silver fingerprint jewellery.

Silver Handprint Jewellery and Silver Footprint Jewellery

We will send you an inkless wipe which can be safely used on your child’s hands and feet. Simply press their hand or foot onto the special paper provided and watch the print appear! If you have a copy of the prints, you could just send these to us direct by post or email.

It is best to wait until your child is either content and happy or fully asleep before attempting to take the print. You should place the paper on a hard surface. We have found that if you have a baby or toddler and need to take a footprint, sitting your child in a high chair can be useful!

Once we have received the prints, we will miniaturise them and produce a stamp personal to you. This stamp will be used to create your silver handprint jewellery or silver footprint jewellery.

Silver Artwork Jewellery

Simply scan and email a copy of the artwork to us or alternatively pop a copy in the post to us. We will miniaturise the picture to make your silver artwork jewellery. Have a chat to us about the shape of charm etc which would best suit your artwork.

And Then…
We will keep in touch with you to let you know when we have received the print and will let you know once the piece has been completed. We will also keep the stamps we produce for 12 months so that you can reorder charms etc at a discounted price.

Caring for your Jewellery

All of our charms are made from fine silver. As silver is a soft metal, you should take care not to knock the charm or scratch it against a hard surface. This can scratch the surface of the charm. We are happy for you to send the charm back to us to be repolished free of charge within 12 months of your order.

You should polish your charm with a special jewellery cleaning cloth. Please do not immerse the charm in jewellery cleaning solution as you will likely remove the antiquing effect.

International Orders

We are more than happy to accept orders from outside Ireland and the UK. Inevitably, it will take us a little longer to get your order to you. We will also need to add the following postal charges and will send you a separate invoice once your order has been made:
